The only concern I have with all this virtual only life is that I do not think it has helped out emotional intelligence, tact, interpersonal skills, and empathy. I mean, say the wrong thing on social media (including medium), and watch the feathers fly. We do that because we hide behind a screen. There was time I would say "no one would ever act like that in person." But as we have become more and more comfortable being stubborn jerks, I'm not so sure that's true anymore.

I am not against remote work, I do it a couple times a week. But I think this idea that everyone is going to live from their living room indefinitely is foolhardy and NOT necessarily the best idea.
