I think a lot of people who think they are atheists are, practically speaking, agnostic. Saying, I don't believe there is a God is one thing.

But some of the more.....vehement atheists proclaim with certainty "There is absolutely no God." This assertion is not provable. It must be - wait for it - taken on faith.

So if one wants to proclaim absolutely zero faith with relation to God, agnosticism is the logical choice.

Making absolute statements about something you cannot prove is the epitome of faith.
