I really think one of the reasons that these songs, as well as other things, ot Sadly, I really think that these songs, certain shows, and other things were sugar coated because they were afraid people would hate America if we were completely honest. We should always be completely honest. We have serious flaws.

However, I have to say, the climate in this newer better America seems to have proven their point. A vast number of people who take advantage of living in America also absolutely deeply hate it. And for some it is understandable

Heck, we cannot even like a flawed individual anymore. If you have flaws I don't want you. Of course let's not talk about my flaws. Not all flaws are equal… some flaws are more equal than others lol
