How Does God Do It?

A short verse

He is awed and worshipped

For His vast creation

His loving-kindness

His power and peace

His freely offered salvation

And all of these

All

Are unfathomable in many ways

But today

And yesterday

And assuredly tomorrow

The truth that escapes me

The question that renders me

Speechless

And the conundrum that reminds me

Why it’s a blessing

That I’m not God…

How does He do it?

How does He wait

How does He remain silent

How does He continue to knock

How on earth and in heaven

Does He stand this world?

I don’t know

But I know it’s one more thing

That makes Him

The only being

Capable of being God
