As you said in this article and the former story, cheating is always wrong. It is always the responsibility of the cheater. However, I also read those comments. I even asked one commenter if he was ok with the abuse, and he deflected, which told me all I needed to know.

I have discovered there is a subset of men who are unable to consider their own shortcomings, and so they formed a community that basically insulates them from looking at themselves by making women the root of all evil. They talk about hypergamy and monkey branching, they ignore the reality of abuse and assault, they high five each other for “going their own way,” or winning “The Game. They idolize people like Corey Wayne and lump all women together because they lack the emotional intelligence to see us as individuals.

I am one of the most traditional women I know, and I adore and respect my husband, who is a TRUE alpha. I even believe in Biblical submission in marriage. And still, l these incel RedPill men with an emotional Napolean complex deride me. The bottom line is that they use hatred of women as a shield against their own knowledge of themselves.

If you have taken responsibility for your own choices, then what they say is not relevant. They can pat each other on the Reddit subforums and read their PUA literature and die alone, for all I care. I’ll go on being a happy wife of a man.

I understood your story just fine, and so did most people who read it. The tiny vocal minority is really of no consequence.
